Little Luxe Retreat #7

I travel for work, and this place was great! It's quiet and in a beautiful part of Shipshewana. The Pumpkin Vine bike path practically goes through the front yard. You can jump on the path and bike over to Middlebury for some BBQ or all the way into Goshen if you'd like. I loved it! The location is perfect.
I'll be hitting this place again the next time I'm in the area.

We lived this tiny house !! The place was clean, spotless and beautifully decorated!! The area was peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Many different activities depending on your likes - something for everyone - ours was antiquing. Host was very proactive in letting us know they are available if we have any issues - we had none. The only thing we would do different next time is book one without a loft so we have seating area to watch tv/ read. The loft rental is set up very nice but you have to use the bed for your “ couch”. Not a problem, just my preference. I definitely recommend this rental- worth the money !! Thank you for sharing your home.

Place was very clean and as described. I used Google Maps to get there and it brought me to site about 2 blocks away. Very peaceful area. Bathroom shower is a little tight but worked well. Enjoyed the outdoor area with chairs. More enjoyable than a motel. Bed was a little too soft for me, but not uncomfortable. Air conditioner worked well, and is very quiet.

Wonderful stay again… My only advice would be to get a flies swatteryou live in farm country. I did not spend my time there alone…

The tiny house was beautiful insude and out. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Landon sent several messages before our stay to make sure we had clear instructions to make our check in process extremely easy. He even checked on us during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. Check out was very simple too. We will definitely be back.

There’s so much to see and do, and the location is perfect—you can walk to just about everything.
One thing to keep in mind: by Sunday, the town gets very quiet and most places close. If there’s anything you really want to see or do, plan to do it before then. Spend Sunday soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoying the slower pace.

This place is great! It’s cozy and comfortable and beautifully finished. It was the perfect overnight stay for my 5 year old and me. He loved the loft. The location is beautiful and peaceful. I hope we can come back another time and explore the surroundings more. Highly recommend!

The property was amazing, there wasn't enough to do town and the flea market only took us 4 hours to go through. But our stay and house was great, we just wished there was more to do locally.

The house is exactly as pictured. The kitchen area and bedroom are large. The upstairs loft would work for a 2 or 3 year old child, nobody else could stand up in the loft. It needs more lighting over the sink in the bedroom area. I moved the stand lamp from the kitchen and put it beside the sink to have enough light to see in the mirror while getting ready for the day. A hot tub would be a nice addition to the outdoor space and a side table for the chairs. It was nice to sit out back and watch the horses and sheep in the field behind the house and the horse and buggies go by on the road. Would definitely recommend staying here, we really enjoyed the house.

Good note about the loft being best for a 2 or 3 year old because of the low ceiling. We appreciate the lighting suggestion and will look into adding more light over the sink. We will also look into adding a side table for the outdoor chairs and evaluating a hot tub for the yard. My sister and I stayed for three nights and truly enjoyed our peaceful stay. Landon was a great communicator, the tiny house was clean and comfortable, and Shipshewana is such a lovely place! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Close to Pumpkin Vine trail and downtown. Loved the horses and sheep close by and the clip clop of the carriages. The porches were an extra special treat. Bed was comfy and TV worked great.

Enjoyed how close it is to pumpkin vine trail and downtown shipshewana for walking and exploring
Very peaceful area with clip clopping of horse and buggies passing by as we sat outside on porch or back patio everyone was friendly and waved to us
The horses sheep and goats were fun to watch out the window or on back patio area

The only thing was it took a very long time to get hot water and loft ceiling is very low. Otherwise a very nice place.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was quiet, very peaceful and extremely clean. The location was great and close enough to walk to shops and food. I loved getting up in the morning and watching the horses and the sheep. We will be back at peak visiting season to enjoy more of the shopping that wasn’t available yet.
