We stayed at Stillwater for spring break 2026. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather! The entire house felt brand new and spotless, even the hot tub was pristine. The beds were 10/10 comfort, the pillows also 10/10, there were extra blankets everywhere around the house. We caught perch and bluegill in the pond. This house is a great place to stay if you're seeking quiet and relaxation.

This place was gorgeous. Especially with the snow and rain, it was nice to relax in the hottub, start a fire pit, or watching the weather while cooking with all the windows views. We look forward to trying out this location in the warmer months to kayak and fish or bring the kids!

Stillwater Retreat did not disappoint! The house was exactly as described in the listing. The property is very secluded and beautiful. The inside is super cozy and was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. All listed amenities were provided.
Since we went in the winter time, we didn’t get to enjoy everything… like the pond, kayaking, fire pit, and the walking trail around the property. However, we did enjoy the hot tub, the giant soaker tub in the master bathroom, the gaming table upstairs in the loft, the fully stocked kitchen and the beautiful views from inside the house, including the many birds that visited the bird feeder outside.
If you’re going in the winter when there could be snow or ice, be aware that this house is off the beaten path on a dirt/gravel road … and the driveway itself is fairly long and has a hill. So make sure to have the proper type of vehicle that can handle the terrain.

Stop looking now and Stay Here! This place is perfect, Book it ! It’s quiet and peaceful with a hot tub and firepit and fire wood provided, the lake was wonderful with turtles and fish and kayaks. The interior was amazingly clean and everything you need is there to feel comfortable. Stores are close enough to get some groceries and you’re set! I will be booking again!

What a gem of a place! We had the best time with our three kids just disconnecting and enjoying the peace and quiet. The house is pristine, and SO accommodating for families. Tons of things to do and so private! The host was extremely responsive and really thought of every detail. Only tip is that our GPS stopped us in the middle of nowhere; the house is about 100 yards up the road so keep driving.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The place was amazing and looked exactly like the photos. They have so many amenities. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the campfire, loved the hot tub and enjoyed fishing. We loved it so much that we have already booked another stay next summer.

Stillwater retreat is stunning! My husband and I feel blessed to have spent a long weekend in such a peaceful, serene, yet modern and stylish place. We enjoyed the hot tub, walking paths, the swing, kayaking in the pond, fishing, sitting around the gorgeous fire area, playing volleyball, and the beautiful home itself! There are so many outdoor and indoor games provided. Another thing I absolutely loved was the cozy blankets to wrap up in! All the way down to the little simple amenities like salt, pepper, oil, all kitchen necessities, bathing supplies… literally too many things to mention about this wonderful place. Landon is very responsive and the place was easy to find and get into. The place looks exactly like the pictures. We will definitely be back ❤️

If you’re looking for a place that’s secluded in a nice little spot in the woods to relax and enjoy some privacy. This place is definitely it. Upon getting here, admittedly, we got worried this wasn’t real, but when we saw the gorgeous scenery and the wonderful home, we were relieved to see everything was as listed. The 4 of us in the group were happy with this place and loved it.
This place was perfect. It was peaceful, lovely, and just perfect. Would definitely recommend this place, and I hope to be able to come back here again in the future!

12/10! Book it. I surprised my husband with a stay for his birthday and invited a few friends to join us. We were all completely blown away with this stunning property and all it had to offer. We relaxed, we fished, we swam, we floated, we sat around the fire, we played games, and we walked the trails. The home was very clean and organized, and well laid out. The coffee was great, and the kitchen was stocked so we didn’t have to go buy all the little extras to actually cook a meal. It was also wonderful to have wineries and markets so close by. Truly the best Airbnb that we have ever stayed at and thankful for the memories. Well done!!

Everything was super clean. Place was very peaceful and great for kids and whole family to relax. Lots to do around without having to leave the place. Portable crib (without linens), baby chair, laundry supplies were provided. Only thing was missing was the dishwasher. And TV not work, but not a big deal as we still had plenty of things to do. Wish we stayed longer!

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. We are a family of five with three young boys and they absolutely loved it. They were outside the entire time, catching fish and using the kayaks. All of the amenities were wonderful, and we felt right at home. They really didn't miss anything with making us comfortable. We grilled a few nights and also went out to dinner too. Landon was also very responsive with any questions we had during our stay, usually answered within minutes. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful property.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is new, clean, open, and airy. It was a relaxing and serene place to unwind.
The linens were high-quality, and there were plenty of towels for our family. We especially appreciated the high-end espresso maker, which was a treat each morning.
The kids had a blast fishing for hours and using the kayaks. It was so nice to have that option right on the property. All the amenities were truly perfection, from the peaceful surroundings to the hot tub and bird watching opportunities.
A couple of things to note for future guests: there were quite a few house flies, so we made a trip to the IGA for a fly swatter and also picked up matches for the fire pit, as we didn’t see one on site. We left both behind for the next visitors to use.
Also, our GPS didn’t take us directly to the property, which was a bit confusing given the remote location. A note with a clearer landmark or visual cue for the driveway would be very helpful.
Overall, a 5-star stay.

Our stay at Stillwater Retreat was so peaceful! I am so glad there was a shelf stocked with toddler toys as we only brought a couple of our 2 year olds favorite toys. Additional baby gear as well (pack n play, booster seat, toddler utensils, etc.). The coffee was a huge hit for my husband and I. The machine is so fancy, I was worried I wouldn’t know how to work it. Once it’s powered on, it walks through the steps and is self explanatory. We saw many birds and groundhogs by the pond. The fishing was great! Our 2 year old daughter caught two fish and oh was she proud of herself!! She loved jumping off the dock and swimming. The kayaks were great to have on site. My husband did utilize some of the fishing poles stocked in the shed but he did have to re-string them as they were pretty tangled. The swing was so much fun. All in all, this cabin was perfect for our family. Close to all of the Amish Country attractions but also a private oasis away from everything and everyone.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this secluded cabin. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how immaculately clean everything was—from the sparkling kitchen surfaces to the crisp, fresh linens. The hosts clearly take exceptional pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment.
The quality of the building materials used throughout the cabin was immediately evident. Everything felt solid and thoughtfully chosen, from the beautiful wood finishes to the premium fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom. It’s rare to find a rental where design and craftsmanship are this impressive.
But the real highlight was the serene and secluded location. Nestled deep in nature, the cabin offered total peace and quiet—just the sound of birds, rustling leaves, and the occasional breeze. We felt completely removed from the hustle of daily life, yet close enough to nearby trails and small-town charm when we needed a bit of activity.

My family stayed here for a few days to relax before my husband's surgery. I'm from the city and have been around the world and this is the best, most restful vacation we've taken so far.
