The Dwelling- Full Home

This place was like no other I’ve stayed at. The roof top was amazing! It’s basically 2 -2 bedroom-2 bath apartments. Perfect for our friends/couple getaway! Can’t wait to return!
For those reading this review (like I do for insight), the master bathrooms are not for those “close the bathroom door” couples. Although the bathroom has some privacy it doesn’t have a closed door option. There were 4 bath towels in each bathroom, if you are not a hang the towel up to reuse after a shower person pack laundry detergent. All other soaps, shampoo and conditioner provided. Remember your bug spray and sunscreen for the rooftop. It is country living at its best! No need to pack games. There is a table top game in the living room we played instead of the ones we packed. So many options, and so much fun!
This is a must rent house! Landon was very helpful and responsive when we needed him. Definitely worth the money!

We had a wonderful stay here for our girls’ weekend! The property is peaceful with beautiful views of the landscape and horses. The two 2-bedroom apartments were very clean and comfortable, and the master bathrooms (especially the jetted tub) were a fun bonus. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved gathering at the huge bar for breakfast. The rooftop deck with the hot tub and fire pit was the highlight of our trip... perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
A few tips for future guests:
– No screen on the sliding door, so plan accordingly.
– Limited outlets, but extension cords helped.
– No TVs, but we didn’t miss them!
– Keep driving up the path... the house is tucked in the trees.
– No dishwasher, so bring dish rags and extra hands.
Overall, a beautiful, relaxing stay. We’d definitely return!

This place is amazing! Waking up on a clear sunny October morning with horses right outside the home and a gorgeous sunrise was delightful.
Its setup is a little different than I had expected with 2 identical setups on separate floors and there isn’t a tv anywhere but it made for a nice relaxing time on the roof in the hot tub.
All around lovely experience.

This was an excellent day and an excellent host. The property was absolutely spotless and in an area where our family and children enjoyed. The location was perfect for Amish country because of the nature and horses nearby. The location is perfect for getting around the high points of Amish country. I would recommend Landon and the Airbnb to anyone.

Loved this place! The rooftop was amazing. We spent a lot of time up there. The beautiful horses were fun to watch also. Had fun with the electronic game table. When we needed assistance from Landon, he helped instantly.
Didn’t realize it was separate apartments but it worked out fine. Would definitely go back!

The host and his house was everything we could ask for very nice host.. Now the community where u have to grocery shop and get gas wasn’t very welcoming to my skin color.. The looks we were getting was unacceptable, It was so bad I had to ask a random person if they ever seen a black person before.. Other than that it was perfect!

My family and I were in Ohio to attend my son's graduation from The College of Wooster. The house could not have been more perfect for the celebration. The layout allowed for privacy for all of our guests as well as common spaces to gather together. The rooftop and hot tub were an added bonus that everyone enjoyed. Landon and the owner were very kind and helpful in every way throughout our stay. They gave us a list of attractions that we visited in Amish Country which proved to be a lot of fun. The location is different from what google map shows. Also don’t count on the wifi. The cleaning fee is a bit high and since we had small kids I really wish they were flexible with the check out time!

We had a great time!! The Dwelling was spacious, clean, the beds super comfy. I wish there were more outlets in the kitchen.and we could not locate a dumpster on the property for rubbish. The gaming table was so much fun!!! Having no television allowed us to bond and create lasting memories. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away in Ohio!

We enjoyed our stay at the Dwelling. However, it is essential to carefully review the layout. The property is split into two separate apartments connected by a staircase and hallways. The building's front door does not lock, so it functions like an apartment style building. Each floor has an apartment entrance with a digital door code. When utilizing all four bedrooms, consider that an adult will need to occupy the second floor, as the main building entrance does not lock. To clarify, the Dwelling consists of two identical floor plans on separate levels, rather than one single, large home. I am not criticizing the property, but rather emphasizing this crucial detail to prevent future misunderstandings.
The space does not have a TV, however, they have fun digital game tables that the children were crazy over. The view was breath taking. I love the area and we had a very nice weekend.

We rented the entire house for a girls weekend. The home was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for all guests. The property was also close to the sites of Amish country. However, there was not enough paper products or garbage bags provided for the amount of people the home sleeps. Overall, I would book this property again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dwelling. We rented both apartments and enjoyed the rooftop patio. It was in a convenient location. The linens were very nice and the beds were comfortable. We would book again if we were in the Ohio Amish Country again.

The Dwelling was the perfect place to escape the busy city life. The place itself is beautifully decorated and the surrounding views are beautiful. We spent every night enjoying the rooftop oasis, sitting by the fire and looking up at the stars. We were able to see some shooting stars too! The Rooftop is perfect to watch the sunrise and just be while listening to the surrounding wildlife. East Main Kitchen was not a far drive away and had some amazing food and service. We really enjoyed visiting the Hershberger's Farm and Bakery during our stay, the kids really loved petting every farm animal and the pony rides. The host and owners were all fantastic and so helpful! We were surprised to see a newly installed hot tub as well, what a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend staying at The Dwelling, you won’t be disappointed! We’re hoping to go back in the future!
